💀Set up your Dynamic NFT discount with Shopify

In this documentation we will be using an example Shopify store called Slimprints.

So, you launched an NFT project and it went well... until, it ran out of utility and your community was left holding onto an NFT that no longer had value. Well, you're in luck, this tech allows you to easily provide instant utility to your community by rewarding NFT holders with an exclusive discount on your store. You can also provide a 100% off discount and allow your community to claim products or giveaways using your Shopify store.

Lets get started.

How to create a Shopify App Key

You must have admin access to your Shopify store to do this setup.

First, log into your Shopify store as admin.

1. Click Settings.

1. Click Apps and Sales channels

1. Select Develop apps

1. Click Create an app

1. Choose any App name for your NFT Loyalty Utility.

1. Configure Admin API Scopes

1. Search "discount", then make sure all 4 of these boxes are ticked to allow for the dynamic generation of the discount code. Then click Save.

1. Now, Install app.

1. Confirm by selecting Install.

1. Here is where you will acquire the necessary information for the app to communicate with the Shopify API to interact with the metamask wallet.

Copy the 3 fields: Shopify Admin Access Token, Shopify App API Key, and Shopify App Secret Key

Paste them into the sekanson Shopify dApp.

1. Copy this number in the URL and Paste it into the Discount Price Rule ID into the sekanson Shopify dApp.
